Avian Stories: Art, Conversation, and Conservation
Wednesday, March 29, 5:00-7:00pm
5:00pm: open-house reception at, 6:00pm: presentation
Join us for an evening of art, friends, and education at this special event celebrating our avian visitors. Exhibiting artists Jennifer Ellis and Micah Silver will be on hand to answer questions about their works, and Plumas Audubon Society's (and MCRC volunteers) Terry & Jerry Williams will present on and answer questions about our local birds. An informal, open-house reception begins at 5, and a presentation by the artists and Plumas Audubon begins at 6. Learn how the artists photograph their wild subjects, stories from the field, and what inspires them. Then, learn about several local birds through Terry & Jerry Williams' beautifully photographed and very informative slide show, which includes tips on identification. Don't miss this very special event! Free, though donations are always welcome. Call MCRC for more info: 836-0446.
