Weaving a Summer Lace Scarf

Weave a scarf for summer learning hand manipulated weaving techniques and incorporate the use of beads.  You will be creating a unique beautiful scarf to wear all summer long.  Knowledge of basic weaving principles required.  Guided by Michelle Haselton of Lakes Basin Creations. Graeagle Health and Wellness Expo

The Mohawk Community Resource Center is hosting a Health and Wellness Expo in Graeagle on Saturday, June 3rd, 10:00 - 2:00 pm.  This Wellness Fair is designed to help the community explore all the different options in the health and wellness spectrum in the Mohawk Valley-Portola area.    The fair also supports local health and wellness providers by offering broad visibility within the community and the opportunity to connect directly with residents.  The Expo, held at Graeagle Fire Hall, has free entry to the public, and those attending the Expo may participate in a raffle for 20 different prizes.  Proceeds from this event will support the Mohawk Community resource Center.

Beginning Rug Braiding

Paws On Parade

Paws On Parade is a fundraiser for High Sierra Animal Rescue.  It is a day full of fun for the whole family... including the dog.  There is the "Walk to Save Homeless Pets", music, contests and games, food, vendors and much much more.  Don't miss this fantastic chance to "paw it forward".

Summerfest 2017

A non-profit fundraiser to assist in the restoration of the historic White Sulphur Springs Ranch site in Plumas County.  This year, the 9th consecutive, the entertainment will be provided by the Comstock Cowboys of Virginia City, Nevada.  Attendees will enjoy a hearty ranch barbecue and both live and silent auctions.  This is an outdoor event.  Bring a lawn chair but no pets please.
