Nature Detectives Club
A new club for kids in grades K-1! Club members will investigate local animals and plants, discover some of nature’s best kept secrets and connect with the wild side of the Pajarito Plateau through a variety of activities. Nature Detectives for K-1st graders, Outdoor Explorers for 2nd-3rd graders. Tuesdays from 3:45-5:15, September 4 - November 27. $113 or $90 members or second sibling in either this or the Outdoor Explorers. Information Session for CRS Taxpayers-CANCELLED
This workshop covers the basic taxes and how to file reports properly to avoid penalties. The NMTRD will explain Gross Receipts Tax, compensating tax, withholding tax and the proper use of Non-Taxable Transaction Certificates (NTTCs). Grand Opening- White Rock Visitor Center
The County of Los Alamos will host a Grand Opening Ceremony for the new White Rock Visitor Center at 11:30 on September 28. Join County Councilors and County staff, the Los Alamos Meeting and Visitor Bureau, the White Rock Master Plan Implementation Committee, and the contractors who completed the work on both the Visitor Center and the State Road 4 Realignment project to initiate this new Center.
