The Princes of Serendip; representatives from the Phoenicia Library who will reveal their fantastic new building plans; poet Bethany Saltman will be on hand as will Phil Lenihan, owner of the Orphic Gallery and the 8-Track Museum in Roxbury. "Your Mother Should Know “returns with everyone’s favorite mother, Dorothy Greenberg. Janet Hardgrove of Peace, Love, and Cupcakes is sure to bring along some samples of her delicious wares, and, of course, Elly Wininger and the Pine Hill Playboys will perform. 'Growing and Aging' a unique reading/discussion program

This collaboration with the NY Council for the Humanities provides a particularly exciting opporutnity for The Open Eye Theater. The reading and discussion program enhances our focus on literature and poetry, and the topic of "Growing and Aging" is meaningful on many levels. The program is free and open to the public, although pre-registration is required, and contributions to The Open Eye Theater are welcome. The program is limited to 15 participants.

Game of Logging level 2

Catskill Forest Association Level 2 focuses on maximizing chainsaw performance. Individuals will learn about chainsaw maintenance; carburetor setting; filing techniques; limbing & bucking techniques; spring pole cutting; & felling techniques. Level 1 is a prerequisite. Individuals will be responsible to provide their own chain saw, helmet, leather boots, chaps, safety glasses or face screen, ear muffs or plugs, and to dress for the weather. Participants should pack a brown bag lunch and enough water for the day.
