Scholarship Pancake Breakfast Benefit

All You Can Eat PANCAKE BREAKFAST- to benefit high school SCHOLARSHIPS.
Keep your calendars marked for Saturday March 5th at 7am. We’ll also being serving sausage on the side (not all you can eat!). The cost will be $6 per person. The funds will be used to help out our local high school scholars. The money is specifically used to go towards college fees. Our goal is to give scholarships to each of our local high schools. Frontier Campfire Chili Cook Off!

I feel that every child no matter of their financial or personal circumstances should be given the opportunity to participate in a summer camp program.
The chili cook off is the first in a series of fun family fundraiser and events that will help raise the fund for a child to attend a FREE Summer Camp program. The program will give children an opportunity to experience traditional camping, nature walks and a variety of fun activities along the Feather River.  


So folks this is a Rain or Shine Event! So be sure to dress accordingly and bring your chairs and blankets.

Cook Off Begins at 8am. Anyone who wants to compete can do so. This contest is open to ALL AGES! Call 530.403.3948 for entry forms and rules.

The talk will be in the Carriage House and start at 1:30pm. Cost is $3 and includes a tour of the lovely Lott Home. The home tours will be at 12pm and 3pm.  Light snacks will be available for purchase. All funds support the museums and docent programs.

Chinese Temple Open House and Tea

This is the 45th annual open house at the Oroville Chinese Temple on Wednesday, May 4,2016.It is sponsored by the Friendsof the Parks and the City of Oroville.It is free for everyone with Tea and Cookies served.  Docents will be there to show the museum rooms and answer any questions.  We will have  demonstration of the art of paper cutting, done by the Chinese as a decorative art for centuriees. The History of Magic

Join us on the Lott Home patio at 1:30 pm on May 21 for the "History of Magic" talk by Duane Zannon.  Professional Magician, Duane Zanon has been performing Magic, Illusions and Ventriloquism for over 40 years. He is a Member and Past President of the Society of American Magicians, and Received a Special Honor of "Induction" into the International Brotherhood of Magician's "Order of Merlin in 2000.  The cost is $3 and includes a tour of the lovely Lott Home.  Tours are at 12pm and 3pm.  Light refreshments will be available for purchase.  All funds support the museums and the docent program for the City of Oroville.
