Tiffany Lorraine LIVE at the Spirits Lounge!

Dreams can come true.

Deeply rooted in family and friends, Tiffany Lorraine believes everything happens for a reason; that doors shut so a window can open. She is an optimist.

Tiffany stared singing at an early age. One of the first songs she learned to sing was the national anthem. She listened to the LeAnn Rimes version over and over again till she mirrored her every sound. This Sacramento CA native’s love of music has always been a big part of her life and a little over a year ago, she teamed up with local musician songwriter /producer-extraordinaire Bobby Zoppi and while still in school, went into the studio and recorded an albums worth of songs.

Her influences range from new country artists such as Lady Antebellum (there’s something special in Hilary's voice that captivates me and draws me in to every song) as well as Carrie Underwood, Sarah Evans & Florida Georgia Line to classic pop icons like Michael Jackson & Celine Dion.

Tiffany chose the fun-tongue-in-cheek “A Little Sumpthin Sumpthin” as the first song /single to release. “It’s a feel good, kick-up-your-heels party song. I just love it!” says Tiffany. She then set about getting a video made with director Noel Maitland.

While her dream of being a successful country artist is her passion; family, friends and pets (cat named Boo) are a big part of her life. Family always comes first. She draws from them. Her older sister is her best friend. Her mom and dad support and encourage Tiffany every step of the way to pursue her dreams no matter how challenging and trying. Tiffany believes her Grandfather, who passed away when she was 16, is her guardian angel.

She’s an average American girl with ginormous dreams (her words). She feels most at home in with a onesie on with a cup of coffee sitting on the couch watching movies. She loves laughing till her stomach hurts and grabs any opportunity to entertain or make someone smile and laugh. She is an extrovert. This is evident in how comfortable she is when she performs. Tiffany also loves Disneyland. No surprise that she takes inspiration from Disney’s “dreams do come true”. (There is a theme here folks…)

For Tiffany Lorraine, we certainly believe they will…

Peer Leader:  Charles Withuhn

After 25 years of research as Dean of Communication at the University of Pennsylvania, George Gerbner came to the remarkable conclusion, "Who tells the stories of a culture really governs human behavior." That makes censorship an issue. In one hour we will touch on Project Censored, the "Fairness Doctrine", Media Consolidation, court rulings, Freedom House, The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics among other sources and then you can decide if censorship in the US today is a threat to representative government or even your health.

A Musical Tribute

My daughter, Kimberly Orozco, was killed in a head on collision because of a drunk driver on May 19, 2014 on Highway 70 1/10th of a mile from the Ophir intersection heading north. Kimmy was a concert level pianist, she was also attending Butte College with one more semester to go before transferring to Chico State to major in classes to become a Registered Dietition. Kimmy was only 20 years old. One month more and she would have been 21. She was a beautiful Seventh-day Adventist Christian young women that cared about others, that's why she wanted to be a Registered Dietition so she could help people make better life style changes and be healthy. She is missed very, very much.

Kimmy's piano teachers are organizing A Musical Tribute in Memory of Kimberly Orozco on her birthday, Thursday June 25, 2015 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at the Evangelical Free Church located at 3785 Olive Highway in Oroville, California. Admission is FREE and open to the public. The names of the teachers that will be playing are: Glenna Battson, Kristi Wolcott, Melissa Brown, Dr. Robert Bowman, and Pastor Larre Kostenko. This should be a very, very nice concert. If you have any questions call: (530)712-5388.
