The 8th Annual IMS Arizona Marathon: Full, Half, Relay, 5K

RUN, JOG OR WALK with us through eight cities and Luke Air Force Base during the8th IMS Arizona Marathon!  Our 2016 marathon, half, and relay will all have separate start lines, converge on Luke Air Force base, and then race down Glendale Avenue together to the finish line at the beautiful Westgate Entertainment District!

During our brief history, we have contributed more than $200,000 to West Valley charities.  Join us for another year of family fun while supporting our outstanding legacy of giving!

Historic Avondale Farmers Market

A fresh and locally grown farmers market will kick off this Saturday in Historic Avondale.
  
The Historic Avondale Farmers’ Market is an open-air gathering place offering fresh, locally-grown produce and agricultural based products. This market will operate rain or shine on the 3rd Saturday of each month through May. 
   
The Avondale Farmers’ Market will provide residents fresh food from the farm to the dinner table, on a weekly basis. In addition to an array of affordable and fresh food and seasonal produce, the market will include special events, gardening workshops, nutrition education, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, family oriented activities and more.  Event coordinators are seeking vendors and community groups to participate; inviting crafters, businesses and other groups to take part in these weekly events.

Daddy Daughter Dinner & Dance

City of Tolleson and City of Goodyear Hosts Annual “Daddy Daughter Dinner & Dance”

It’s a fairytale special occasion for the princess in a father’s life. Dads and daughters are invited to take part in a special night to remember when Tolleson and Goodyear host its annual Daddy Daughter Dinner & Dance.  The Daddy Daughter Dinner & Dance is specially organized for girls of all ages and their father or special father figure in their life.  The event includes a deejay, dancing, contests, raffles, catered dinner and beverages.  Photographer will be on site to capture your special occasion free of cost. 

Tickets are limited and available only through advance sales.  Pre-purchase tickets at
Tolleson Recreation Department, 9555 W. Van Buren and
Goodyear Recreation Department at 3075 North Litchfield Rd.

                   
            Cost:               Tolleson and Goodyear residents:  $45.00 per couple,
                                    $20.00 per additional tickets
                                    Non-residents - $55.00 per couple, $25.00 per additional tickets
           
Deadline to purchase tickets is February 12, 2016
