🎸 Friday Night Live — Farrow and the Peach Leaves

June 18th · 6:00–8:00 PM · Waganupa Brewing

Kick off the holiday weekend the right way — with a band you won't soon forget.

Farrow and the Peach Leaves are a Nevada City, California outfit who have chiseled out their own unique brand of Americana, Blues, Rock and Country — packed with thick blues guitars, locomotive rhythm, and seventies country rock overtones. Fronted by singer-songwriter Graham Farrow Knibb, the band pushes buttons that bring audiences as much to tears as to dancing. Their songs orbit themes of loneliness and love, betrayal and joy — with a deft earnestness that's deeply rooted in the Sierra Foothills they call home.

With three albums under their belt and a robust following up and down the West Coast, these are musicians at the top of their game. Come find out what all the buzz is about.

This is a family night — kids and four-legged friends are welcome and encouraged. Bring your own food, grab takeout on the way, and let us handle the cold pints.

🎶 Friday Night Live — Michael Russell

June 19th · 6:00–8:00 PM · Waganupa Brewing

He's back — and tonight we celebrate!

Michael Russell is a guitarist, singer, and songwriter based out of Northern California whose stone-cold blues guitar licks, old school rock 'n' roll energy, and timeless songwriting style make him one of the most exciting live acts in the region. Whether he's performing solo or with the Michael Russell Trio, every show is a masterclass in blues and roots rock — raw, soulful, and impossible to sit still through.

We're thrilled to have Michael back on the Waganupa stage on this very special evening. Come raise a glass, celebrate the day, and let the music do the rest.

This is a family night — kids and four-legged friends are welcome and encouraged. Bring your own food, grab takeout on the way, and let us handle the cold pints.

Now in its 42nd year, the Mile High 100 promises to be better than ever! The recent road construction on Hwy 36 has resulted in smooth new pavement and wider, safer shoulders—especially up the challenging Johnson Grade.
We proudly welcome riders of all levels with three exciting route options: 100, 66, and 33 miles. Choose you challenge and ride with us
We’re also excited to announce enhanced rider support, including additional rest stops and live music at the finish line.
And if you haven’t yet seen our iconic Mile High Cycling Jersey, be sure to check it out. Riders have responded with incredible enthusiasm!

🤠 Friday Night Live — Chicken Fried Cats

June 20th · 6:00–9:00 PM · Waganupa Brewing

Happy Father's Day Eve — and what better gift than three hours of Texafornia outlaw country?

Captain Kitten's Chicken Fried Cats have crept down from their Northern California ridgetop hideouts and onto our stage for a night that's equal parts class and crass. This five-piece Sierra Nevada outfit combines tasty chicken-pickin' guitar licks and starry pedal steel cascades with Captain Kitten's raunchy wit and creamy baritone drawl — a sound they proudly call "Texafornia outlaw country." With a bull fiddle holding down the low end and drums keeping the whole thing rolling, this is honky tonk the way it was meant to be played.

Bring Dad. Bring the kids. Bring the dog. And stay for all three hours.

This is a family night — kids and four-legged friends are welcome and encouraged. Bring your own food, grab takeout on the way, and let us handle the cold pints.
