4th Annual Turkey Trot


Quickly becoming the newest Lake Almanor family tradition! Join us Thanksgiving Day for some good old fashioned fun. The quick (but hilly!) paved 5k course begins at the Bailey Creek Clubhouse and wraps through the quiet neighborhood of Bailey Creek. Runners, walkers, strollers and dogs (please bring poopie bags) welcome! *****Bring non-perishable food item for a chance to win a lovely prize; all donations will be distributed to local food shelter servicing communities of the Lake Almanor Basin.****
There will be prizes for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the event. Music and fire pits for those who choose to cheer the participants rather than run! Sunshine, rain, or snow - this event is sure to be a memorable addition to your Turkey Day. Join us for some fresh air and fun before we all head home to gobble down! Kids under 10 run free. All participants will receive our unique, original finisher's medal and paid participants will also receive a commemorative earwarming fleece headband. Registration will start at 7:30am, Turkey Gobbler start is at 9am sharp.

The annual Graeagle Holiday Festival & Tree Lighting is a tradition set in the beautiful town of Graeagle. This family fun event is a premier event for the downtown merchants to kick off the holiday spirit. 

There will be open houses from 1-5pm where you will find delicious refreshments for all to enjoy and unique offerings at the participating businesses. 
You can also enter to win the Graeagle Bucks by visiting each participating merchant. Must be present to win~winners will be announced after the 5pm tree lighting. 
You can take a horse-drawn trolley/sleigh ride thru the town and even take a picture with Santa at the real estate office. Stay warm by the bonfire and listen to live holiday musicin the park and sing along with carolers who will be strolling through town. 
Join us in making this tradition come alive and kick-off the holiday season!
