THE BRANFORD EDUCATION FOUNDATION
was founded in 2004 with a mission to foster excellence in public education by funding programs that enhance the capabilities of all of Branford's public schools. Inspired by the potential for excellence in our students and teachers, the Foundation raises private dollars for programs that would normally not be funded by the Board of Education's budget. Guided by a directive to supplement - not supplant - the present system of funding public education, we seek support for programs that the Superintendent of Schools has approved, and for which we believe donor support is available.
