The Animal Health Institute at Midwestern University's Glendale Campus offers comprehensive community veterinary care for small and large animals, while training the next generation of veterinarians. Working as a team, expert faculty veterinarians and students provide primary and specialty veterinary services at three state-of-the-art facilities: the Companion Animal Clinic, the Large Animal Clinic , and the Diagnostic Pathology Center. The Companion Animal Clinic incorporates a complete range of health services for small animals. The Large Animal Clinic is devoted to veterinary education, research, and pathology for large animal medicine, ranchers, and food producers, and offers a Large Animal Ambulatory service by appointment to perform on-site treatment for horses, cattle, goats, and other farm animal species. The Diagnostic Pathology Center is the most advanced anatomic pathology facility in the state of Arizona, offering comprehensive diagnostic histopathology and immunohistochemistry services for all animal species to veterinarians, zoo and wildlife organizations, rescue organizations, and law enforcement agencies.

Fernando Notario Britez, DVM Born in Asuncion, Paraguay, in 1981, Fernando always had passion for animals, becoming the first veterinarian in his family. Fully bilingual, came to the United States with the dream of improving in career as much as possible, practiced in several Hospitals from Colorado and Arizona, and now is fulfilling his dream of owning his own clinic in the United States. Between 2014 and 2020, he also created 4 different Veterinary Clinics in Paraguay, which are managed long distance. Dr. Notario loves mentoring new veterinarians, and loves the challenge of day to day General Practice for dogs and cats. Besides this, he loves spending time with his family. He is married to Liliana, and is father of Monse and Andrea. Also in the family we have Rosie (Squeaky) and Lucy, his currently 2 dogs.
