We take as much pride in handcrafting our food as we do our beer. With a menu that's largely made from scratch and battered to order, it's impossible to make a bad decision. Our Story. In July 2014, our family discussed opening a brewery in Southern Arizona's wine country over a jar of moonshine and some inebriated banter. We talked about the Copper State's history; the large unspoken contribution women played in building the Wild West, and how we can pay homage to the world's oldest profession through craft beer. A year passed, and the idea of that drunken evening was long forgotten until the unexpected passing of our Grandpa Glenn. While looking through some of grandpa's belongings, we stumbled upon a list of final wishes, ?start a business,? topped the list. In 2018 we honored Grandpa Glenn and the women of the west by opening Copper Brothel Brewery. Our ownership family is comprised of:

The original Gunny?s Barbeque ?truck and trailer? began 2012. Gunnery Sergeant Louie Aviles, a retired United States Marine who served his country for over 20 years, Gunny now serves his community with authentic Puerto Rican style Barbecue with a Southwestern influence. During these years, as Gunny's Barbeque fans increased, Gunny?s dream of owning his very own Mobile Food Concession trailer came to fruition in October of 2019. Thanks to his heavenly father, his loyal followers, friends, and family. Gunny opened his first restaurant in 2023. Now new enthusiasts alike can experience his culinary inspirations on a more permanent basis. Come Check Out Our New Location!
I'm Annalysa and I'm the new owner of Julie and Sammy's. I started working with the founders in 2021. I quickly fell in love with this little ice cream parlor and jumped at the chance to take over in 2023. I am determined to continue the legacy of quality and community involvement that was started in 1999. In addition to providing quality ice cream and snacks, we are committed to giving back and supporting our community. Through our community gatherings and fundraisers, we do more than just sell ice cream. This summer we hosted the Pack Your Backpack back to school event and, with our community partners, gave out 500 backpacks and hundreds of school supplies to local residents. In 2022, we hosted a fundraiser for a local family as their son fought cancer. We believe that to be a part of a community, we need to do more than just sell. As we continue to grow, you can expect Julie and Sammy's to be a force for good in Sierra Vista.
