Our locally owned and operated community pharmacy opens January 2026 in Penticton. Our pharmacy ownership team consists of two pharmacist couples: Cameron and Maria Needham and Jason and Mary T Lam. Each pharmacist owner brings a unique set of skills to contribute to our team. We have all lived and worked in Penticton for more than a decade. It was our dream and vision to open our independent business serving the community by focusing on 'pharmacy-first' initiatives to deliver excellent patient care. The role of the community pharmacist has grown extensively in recent years including adaptation of prescriptions, prescribing for minor ailments, lab ordering and enhanced injection services. We aim to support our patients and community with healthcare collaboration and working to our full scope of practice. We love the long term relationships that develop in supporting patients in their healthcare journey in community. Pond Performance Ltd. is a true local company, started by Bob Pond who grew up in Penticton. As a youth he was afforded many athletic opportunities that took him on to play Junior and Collegiate hockey. He pursued an education in Athletic Therapy and Strength & Conditioning with the goals of moving back to Penticton and creating opportunities for the next generation to have a safe space to train.
