Vita Ozoude, President/CEO, is a member of the Board of Directors and co-founder of the Nevada Black Chamber of Commerce. Vita holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Economics and Accounting, and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Reno. Vita has over fifteen years experience in accounting, tax, finance and related fields. Vita is a Nevada Certified Public Accountant, and a Certified Management Accountant. Vita is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Management Accountants.
Vita is the owner of Vita Ozoude, CPA – A tax preparation and accounting business. Vita also works for the State of Nevada’s Division of Internal Audits as an Executive Branch Audit Supervisor. Prior to joining the Division, Vita was a senior auditor with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (the Board). During his almost twelve years with the Board, Vita performed and supervised audits of Nevada’s casino industry. Vita is the vice president of the African Union of Northern Nevada. Vita served for four years as the financial secretary of the Union. Vita is also the current treasurer of the African Heritage and Leadership Alliance, and a member of the Reno/Sparks NAACP.
Vita completed an advanced soccer coaching course with the American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), and is a volunteer coach for the Sparks Region of the AYSO. |
