The foundation is solely supported by individual and corporate donations, and is not part of any government entity. *Major sponsor of HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Pre-School Youngsters *Sponsors annually Wanda Robbins Scholarship in memory of the late Wanda Robbins, a board member of King?s Kids Foundation *Missoula Children?s Theatre: Sponsors this one week theatrical experience for Monroe County children, ages 5 ? 18. *Monroeville Literary Festival: sponsors children?s authors for this annual event (first time in 2022). *Big Brothers/Big Sisters of South Alabama: King?s Kids sponsors this mentorship program at Monroeville Elementary and Monroeville Middle School. *Books for Babies: provides free books to children born at Monroe County Hospital. *Dolly Parton Imagination Library: Partnering with Monroeville Kiwanis Club to launch this program in Spring/Summer 2022. Children from birth to age 5 are eligible to be enrolled and each enrollee will receive a personally inscribed age appropriate book delivered monthly, equating to as many as 60 books, for the child?s personal library.
