Arcosanti is a prototype arcology (architecture + ecology) and urban laboratory founded in 1970 by architect Paolo Soleri. Over 50,000 people from around the world visit Arcosanti every year.
As a live-work community that operates year-round, Arcosanti is open to the public from 9 am to 5 pm daily (excluding major holidays) and offers hourly tours, a buffet-style cafe serving 3 meals a day (with many vegan, vegetarian & gluten-free options), overnight guest accommodations, and group accommodations.
The Colly Soleri Music Center & Amphitheater at Arcosanti hosts numerous musical, culinary and cultural events throughout the year.
Additionally, we are home to a gallery and gift shop featuring the one-of-a-kind world-famous bronze and ceramic windbells originally designed by Paolo Soleri and handmade onsite by skilled artisans.

For those with a deeper interest in arcology, Arcosanti offers 1-, 2- and 5-week workshops nine times per year. There are over 7000 alumni of the Arcosanti workshop program.
Our spacious and unique indoor and outdoor facilities are available for rental.
