Pacific Gas and Electric Company is one of the largest combination natural gas and electric utilities in the United States. The company, a subsidiary of PG&E Corporation, serves approximately 15 million people throughout a 70,000-square-mile service area in northern and central California.
We are a local government agency that provides water and sewer to Quincy, California.
American Valley Community Services District is governed by a ten person elected Board of Directors. These Directors determine the policies and set the agenda for the District. The Board appoints a General Manager who oversees the day to day operations of the District.
Under the direction of General Manager Jim Doohan, nine full-time employees provide the water and wastewater services for the American Valley.
A member of American Water Works Association, California Rural Water Association, California Special District Association, California Water Environment Association, and North Cal-Neva Resource Conservation & Development.
