The Baird Chamber of Commerce is excited to host their annual Railhead Festival.  This will be a fun day for the everyone in the family.  One of our main events for the day will be our Railhead Cook-off.   

One or all meats: Brisket, Chicken, or Pork Ribs (no babybacks)
(80% payout for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

$100 before May 15, 2024 or $150 for late entry

Kid's category: Hamburger
$10 and 100% payout for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Teams must be in place by Friday @ 6:00pm

Jackpot Pinto Beans $15
Jackpot Chili $15
Jackpot Dessert $15

Electrical hook-ups available for Friday and Saturday for $10 (first come first serve basis).  You can only pay these additional fees at the time of hookup.

Cook-off Registration Time from 5:00pm to 6:00pm on Friday May 17, 2024

EVENT ACTIVITIES: *Downtown Baird* We have a full day of activities on Saturday with vendors and food vendors: Car Show, Cook-off, Children’s Entertainment, Street Dance, etc. Any vendor wanting to continue to sell through the Street Dance may do so. Check our event page for more details at bairdchamber.com/events.
CHECK-IN: Please find the Chamber Booth at the corner of 1st and Market (In front of Depot) for your location. We will also provide an event program to ensure all vendors are aware of the schedule of activities.
 
RULES: **ALL vendors are welcome to set up Friday Night** All trailers and vehicles must be moved off the downtown area by 10am Saturday and will not be allowed to re-enter until after 5pm. We will barricade Market Street from 1^st through 2nd Street. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs, props, canopies, extension cords, etc. The Chamber is not responsible for theft of vendor property and/or equipment left unattended.
