Chamber Business Ambassadors duties include attending, promoting, and/or participating in all Greater Maricopa Business Alliance events and being a steward of the Chamber.

Membership Retention: Call on a Chamber Member three times per year, usually just before their renewal date, to let them know we appreciate their support of the membership. Ask if they have any questions about the functions. If a Chamber member is unhappy or has any comments about the Chamber or membership, you need to let the Executive Director know immediately.

Mentor Program: New Members are assigned at the monthly Business Ambassador Meetings. An Ambassador should contact his or her New Member and introduce him or herself to let them know who you are and if they can be of any assistance. Tell them about the Mixers and invite them to go with you. Introduce them to other Chamber members and try to make them feel welcome and comfortable. Invite them to a Chamber 101.

Ribbon Cuttings & Milestone Celebrations: An Ambassador's presence representing the Chamber is important at these functions. Please socialize with the hosts and as many of their staff members as possible. Learn as much information by asking about their businesses and services they provide. Also, ask them to join us for a Mixer or a Member Briefing.

Chamber Events: Ambassadors can volunteer to assist with many aspects of Chamber Events, from helping on a Chamber event committee to volunteering the day of the event, wherever you are needed.
