This festival would not be a success without the hard work and dedication of the Fall Festival Committee. This committee dedicates their time and talents for a year in the planning and organization of the festival. Those involved on the committee are; David Williams, Marks Towles, Kay Keller, Sarah Caven, Kenneth Mann, Michelle Burger, Randy Wilkes, Paul Boykin, Becky Finney, Nancy Smith, Maria Caudill, John Caudill, Cindy Haddon, Jonathan King, Lindsey Moore and Larry Cole. We also have the support of spouses and family members of the festival committee who pitch in to help set up and clean up after the festival.
The Festival had a number of volunteers throughout the day who helped with various jobs from getting the vendors setup and parked in the early morning hours, helping with sanitation during the day, keeping pedestrians safe from vehicle traffic by tending to the road barricades around the perimeter of the festival, directing traffic out of the festival area, and finally getting the area cleaned up after the festival is over. We couldn’t do this without their help and there are many of them. Thank you!
The Scarecrow 5K Road Race was a great success due to the hard work and dedication of Melissa Lord and Nelson Pavao.  Our thanks for this year’s presenting sponsor: Georgia Neurological Surgery and Comprehensive Spine. Thank you to the race sponsors: Golden Pantry, Jackson Spalding, Lord & Stephens Funeral Homes, Oconee State Bank, Trader Joe’s, St. Mary’s Healthcare, Tribe Fitness, and Wal-Mart.  The Oconee Sheriff’s Department does a great job of directing traffic for the race and keeping everyone safe, thanks to those deputies who helped on that day.
The Fall Festival is a very large production that requires the collected effort of the wonderful people of our community, chamber members, Leadership Oconee, Youth Leadership Oconee, family and friends, all of whom are committed to providing Oconee County with the best Fall Festival possible.
Thanks to All Who Volunteered Their Time to Make This Fall Festival One of The Best!
