About Us
The Lake Oroville Bicycle Organization (LOBO) was formed in 1996 from what was the Oroville Bicycle Advisory Board. LOBO's mission is to bring awareness that cycling benefits our health, families, economy and community, and that it's fun. LOBO advocates for bicycle access as needed.
The club has organized rides, puts on the Annual 24 Hours of Gold Mountain Bike Race, supports the Sheriff's Christmas Bike Give-A-Way, provides cycling information to the public and offers cycling education.
LOBO exists for all types of cycling and for cyclists of all ages.
