Chamber Works For You

News from Sheri

Happy June,

As the advocate for Prescott businesses and the economy we believe it is important that the views and opinions of the business community are heard by the local candidates and the provincial parties looking to form government.

The Prescott Chamber of Commerce hosted an informational meeting on Proposition 442 & 443 on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Yavapai College.

A Candidate Forum is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Yavapai College, which we have partnered with several other groups to host.

We have created a very short survey regarding propositions 442 & 443 which are very important issues and we want to hear from our business community.  Please complete and submit by June 20, 2017!  The survey is confidential and we will share the results after it is completed.  Thank you in advance for filling out the survey!

For more information on both visit the city's web site at:

You may also contact Communications and Public Affairs Manager 928-777-1361.

Pet of the Month

Yavapai Humane Society

June is National Adopt a Cat month!

Hello, my name is Sora and I’m a 7-year-old tortoiseshell cat looking for my forever home at Yavapai Humane Society. I’ve been told I’m quite a lovely lady, with all this stunning orange in my coat and my pretty green eyes. I love to be petted and brushed. Besides the fact that I’m a fabulous gal, MEOW is the perfect time to take me home. You see, June is National Adopt a Cat month. I know, I know…when I heard that “Adopt a Cat” month isn’t year round, I thought “You’ve CAT to be KITTEN me.” So this is my time to shine, and I’m ready for it! See me at the Adoptions Center (1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott) or call 928-445-2666 to learn more about me.
