Shortly we will be announcing two new Signature Chamber events!

And this month we are going to launch the Prescott Chamber Networking Groups, let us know if you’re interested in being involved with this new program at chamber@prescott.org.   Prescott Chamber Networking Groups (PCNG) will be groups of 15 – 25 Chamber members who gather bi-monthly to discuss and pass qualified referrals and leads!  It’s a great way to grow your business and connect with other businesses as well!

Tourism season is ramping up along with many who are looking to relocate in this area (we average over 100 guests per day in the Visitor Center)!  Please make sure we have your marketing materials and check with Robert Coombs, Visitor Information Center Manager at Robert@Prescott.org to make sure he has all your information – that is a great benefit to you as a member!

We value your membership and look forward to seeing you at the upcoming events!  Remember to shop local and with a fellow chamber member!

Please join us for our July events and visit www.prescott.org and go to Chamber Events! Please remember to RSVP for Chamber events!

Tell us what you do:  As an Account Executive for Arizona's Hometown Radio Group, I have the opportunity to partner with local businesses to help their business grow through advertising.

Describe how being a Chamber Ambassador has helped your business:  Being involved with the Chamber has helped me make key business contacts in the community.

What would be the one thing that you would take to a deserted island: A super huge long book - I read everyday, so I would like to have something to read.

If you could have lunch with anyone, dead or alive, who would it be and why? My Grandpa who passed away in a roping accident 12 years ago, because I would love to hear him whistle and get one of his great, big hugs.

Pet of the Month

Yavapai Humane Society

Nighthawk is handsome 4-year-old grade horse looking for his forever home at Yavapai Humane Society. He earned his name when a hawk came and sat with him for a while during one of his early training sessions at the YHS Equine Center. After our training session, the hawk followed him back to his paddock and just stayed with him. We combined this experience with his true black color and his small size and named him Nighthawk. He is graceful, collected, and moves like air over the wing of a bird. This young horse is friendly, he seems to have an unusual patience with children, he loves his training sessions and is learning to be a great horse. He will make the perfect horse for a small adult or child. He is only four years old so he is early in his training and will benefit from a companion who can help him continue to learn more. This is a very special horse--one you must see and be near to appreciate. Please come visit and learn more about this wonderful horse. Contact Yavapai Humane Society’s Equine Center for more information on adopting Nighthawk at 928-350-8688.
