Lino Lakes Ambassador Program Seeking Business Sponsors"As a community 501c(3) non-profit organization, the Lino Lakes Ambassador Program strives to empower young women in the community to become confident leaders through mentorship, volunteerism, and educational scholarships. Since the inception of the Blue Heron Days festival in 2004, our program has selected 42 remarkable young women to serve as ambassadors of Lino Lakes. These women have gone on to become leaders in their careers in fields such as business, education, law, medicine and more. Their education was funded in part by scholarships awarded to them at the end of their year of service as Lino Lakes Ambassadors. In order to fulfill our mission of developing civic-minded female leaders from the community of Lino Lakes, we have a candidate program which takes place each summer, culminating in the Blue Heron Days festival and the selection of three new ambassadors. With over 115 young women participating in this since 2004, countless individuals have experienced the fun, professional growth, friendships, and community service that our candidate program provides. To reach our goal of continuing to provide educational scholarships to these leaders of the future, we hope you will consider sponsoring a candidate for this year’s program. There are two options for sponsoring a candidate:
