Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me (directed by James Keach) follows Glen and his family as they together fight the biggest battle of his life. After his devastating diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease in 2011, Glen and his wife Kim decided to go public with their private tragedy – the first time a major American celebrity would share this kind of experience with the world. Glen had been told to hang up his guitar and prepare for the inevitable; instead, he and his family set out on a five-week “Goodbye Tour” across America — something that turned into an emotional and triumphant 151-show nationwide tour de force spanning18 months. The film documents the family’s amazing journey as they attempt to navigate the wildly unpredictable nature of Glen’s progressing disease using love, laughter and music as their medicine of choice.
