Litter-Free by the Sea

But each of us can contribute to the island’s overall effort by making sure that the areas around our businesses are free of litter, and also by checking the streets in front of our homes and around our neighborhoods. Several businesses in past years have formed teams of litter-picker-uppers who signed up to collect litter on an island roadside or beach.  It’s a great way to have fun with your co-workers while getting some fresh air and exercise!  And even though the official clean-up is scheduled for a Saturday morning, you can certainly “do your thing” on a different day of the week or at a different time of day.
