Plan to attend Friday Harbor Laboratories (FHL) Annual Open House. Saturday, May 12, 2018,
11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. There’s something for everyone – kids and adults: touch sea life, catch plankton, use a microscope, view SCUBA diving demos, stop by a scientific lecture, get a behind-the-scenes look at cutting-edge research facilities. In addition – hop aboard the 58’ research vessel, Centennial, and check out the remotely operated vehicle (ROV), oceanographic tools, and sonar systems. Enjoy complimentary freshly popped popcorn.
