Free Construction Basic Training

The course will run this fall. The training will be taught at the Friday Harbor High School STEM Center by Ravenhill carpenter Mike Murphy, who brings decades of carpentry and construction experience to the role.  The curriculum has been designed for high school and college students and career changers.  Students will learn core building skills, tool usage, safety, career and job information, and more.  Qualifying participants will receive assistance in job placement with building companies throughout San Juan County.
