Healing Waters

WaterWorks Gallery

May 5 -27

Healing Waters

Jennifer Williams’ - Healing Waters is a collection of landscape paintings offering an escape from our busy lives.

In choosing this years theme of Healing Waters, she aspires for her paintings to be visual reminders of our fragile natural environment.

Her painting process includes a collaged surface of recycled paper, including regional maps, layered with acrylic glazes. Together these elements build unique textures and atmospheric depth that create a feeling of inspiration
active in her landscapes.

In her words, ”As our dependency on tech gadgets grows stronger, taking time to unplug and reconnect with the natural world is more and more important to our physical, emotional and spiritual health.”
