The upcoming Celebrate the Oscars Party on March 3^rd at the Brickworks, promises to be a truly fun event!   The Friday Harbor Film Festival will transform the Brickworks into a Gala!  Emcee Kent Loomer an actor and comic from Bellingham will add the to overall fun of the evening.  Generous donors have provided some great Live Auction items, travel packages to Portland, Bellingham, Vancouver Island, a Private 3 day cruise, plus get aways right here on San Juan; Glamping, Roche Harbor, an Oyster picnic and private gourmet dinners.  There are some great Silent Auction items too, from local services to valuable jewelry, gift baskets and lovely art. 

All the trailers for the films nominated for the Academy Awards will be highlighted.  There will be a ballot for each guest to make his or her selection of the winner of each major category.  Valuable prizes will be given for those that get the most correct!

Guest are encouraged to dress up in their finest if they want or as an actor or character from a favorite film.  Prizes will also be given for Best Film Character; Male and Female, Best Look Alike; Actor and Actress, Best Film Couple; Look Alike Actors and Movie Characters. 

Hosted by the Friday Harbor Film Festival to raise the necessary funds to remain sustainable and continue this valuable event into the future.   The FHFF strong environmental, educational and social justice programming has had a positive impact on our community.   Join the fun and plan to party!!  March 3^rd, Brickworks, 5 pm
