Best of the Fest is Tonight

Friday Harbor Film Festival

Winner of the 2017 Audience Choice Award

In the depths of South America, where the Andes, the Amazon and the Equator collide, a wilderness exists that is one of Earth’s most bio-diverse areas – a place where mammals (including humans), birds, plants, and amphibians all thrive.

Yasuni Man documents a conflict raging deep within this area, pitting biodiversity and human rights against extractive industries and human consumption.

Winner of FHFF Audience Choice Award: Explorers & Adventures Category.

San Juan Wireless, local Verizon Wireless Dealer and DirecTV indirect dealer, will officially close their doors on March 31, 2018, after being in business for 20 Years. Beginning on March 8, 2018, all merchandise in the store will be discounted 40%. San Juan Wireless first opened for business in September, 1998.  Initially, the business (San Juan Cellular Communications, LLC) was located in the Technology Center.  At that time, the service offerings were AT&T Wireless and DirecTV.  After a couple of years, the name changed to San Juan Wireless and relocated to the Guard Electric Building on Mullis Street where we began to offer Verizon Wireless services.  What a great adventure it’s been to be a local business in Friday Harbor serving customers throughout the San Juan Islands.  Thank you.
