About Us

We are a family made up of believers in Jesus Christ. Our understanding of what God teaches us in His Word is that we have been forgiven and saved in order to serve Him. As Ephesians 2:10 clearly states: For we are His creation—created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time so that we should walk in them.

Central to who we are is our obedience to Christ’s Great Commission to make disciples (Matthew 28:19-20). The making of disciples is much more than leading others to place their faith in Jesus Christ. Becoming a disciple is a lifelong journey requiring us to consistently learn and obey the commands of Christ.

Therefore, our purpose for being is simple: we exist to teach others how to walk with Jesus the rest of their lives. Although the purpose is not very complex it requires a daily commitment on our part. It is at this juncture the church body becomes crucial to our understanding of having others encourage us along this journey of discipleship.
