About Us

Carrabba's Italian Grill is an exciting Italian restaurant that opened in December, 1986 in Houston, Texas. Johnny Carrabba and Damian Mandola created an authentic Italian restaurant with an emphasis on the grill, pizza cooked in a wood burning oven, fresh pastas and homemade desserts.
Carrabba's opened its second location in 1988. In 1993, Carrabba's entered into an agreement with Outback Steakhouse to expand the concept. We now have over 230 restaurants and Carrabba's is growing each year.
I proudly opened Carrabba's Italian Grill in Avondale on February 24, 2004. I carry on the family tradition of fresh food and attention to detail at every level of my guests experience. Our heritage of love of food and family, hospitality, and passion are obvious in how we care for our customers.
I am committed to excellence in the quality of our food preparation, presentation and service.
My staff and I provide this in a casual atmosphere and at a great value. Every employee plays an important role in delivering a great experience to our Customers. The atmosphere, consistency of our food and our staff have made Carrabba's one of the most popular dining spots in the west valley, Avondale, and across America.

Welcome to Carrabba's, where you'll experience the bold, fresh flavors of Italy in a warm, casual atmosphere. Carrabba family photos adorn the walls as guests enjoy original family recipes made by hand and prepared to order in a lively exhibition kitchen. Enjoy Crispy Calamari, Chicken Parmesan, Sirloin Marsala and a variety of fresh grilled fish. Other favorites include our signature Steamed mussels, Spiedino di Mare (grilled shrimp and scallops) and wood-fired pizza. For dessert indulge in our delicious homemade Cannoli or Tiramisu.
