About Us

The SouthWest Skill Center at Estrella Mountain Community College serves the growing community of the West Valley with short-term, hands-on training that prepares you for current and future job opportunities by utilizing the most up-to-date technology taught by industry professionals.

Once a satellite campus of the Maricopa Skill Center, the SouthWest Skill Center is now an important part of Estrella Mountain Community College, to better accommodate the needs of its local community. This provides students with the small, intimate approach of the Skill Center, combined with all the resources a larger college has to offer. Skill Center students can take advantage of a full-service financial aid office, a library and multimedia center, student life, and so much more all at one campus.
