Hours of Operation
WVYO rehearsals are from 6:15 to 8:15 pm, and and Cadet Strings rehearsals are from 6:15 to 7:30 pm on Mondays.
About Us
The West Valley Youth Orchestra is a performance group for young, talented students from upper elementary through high school age. Performers on string instruments, woodwinds, brass, and percussion instruments are invited to audition. The group meets on Monday nights from 6:15 to 8:15 throughout the school year at Garden Lakes Elementary School, 10825 W. Garden Lakes Parkway in Avondale. Students from Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Tolleson, Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, West Phoenix, and Wickenberg belong to the group. Last year we performed at Luke AFB, Arrowhead Mall, retirement homes, the Challenger Space Center, Pebble Creek, and Westview High School.
