Missouri Route 364
Missouri Route 364 Bridge and Extension - Phase I
(I-270 to Missouri Route 94)
- N/B I-270 dual lane directional ramp to W/B Route 364 construction work continues
- The ramp is operational while construction work wraps up
Missouri Route 364 - Phase II/Upgrade of Missouri Route 94
(Preservation/Rehabilitation/Safety/Congestion)
(Heritage Landing to Mid Rivers Mall Drive)
- Construction completion - Jungermann and Central School Roads anticipated mid 2012
- Construction completion - Central School Rd to Mid Rivers Mall Dr anticipated late 2012
Missouri Route 364 - Phase III
(New Construction)
- Mid Rivers Mall Drive to I-64
- Final design complete to right of way plans
- Plans being converted from “Metric” to “English”
- “Practical design” concepts will be implemented
- Over 50% of right of way has been acquired
- Phase III has been included in the region’s Long Range Plan
- $100 million to clear remaining right of way, utilities, and to construct programmed
- Design/Build legislation beneficial to this project passed by Missouri General Assembly
I-64
Eastbound Missouri River Bridge
- Environmental Impact Statement/Record of Decision (EIS/ROD) has been issued
- New Alternative - 1935 bridge will be taken down
- Four lane Federal Highway Administration “design exception” issued for 1980’s bridge
- Federal Highway Administration approval of amended EIS/ROD expected this summer
- $123 million plus programmed to construct a new bridge
- Design/Build legislation beneficial to this project passed by Missouri General Assembly
I-70 Corridor
(Preservation/Rehabilitation/Safety/Congestion)
- $66 million I-70 westbound Missouri River Bridge rehabilitation planned by MoDOT - An early 2012 start date is anticipated
- Intelligent Transportation System programmed to mitigate traffic conditions
- Funds programmed to improve I-70/interchanges at Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Route 79
- Funds programmed to add I-70 W/B lane from T.R. Hughes to Route K
I-70 Traffic Reliever
Missouri Route 370 connector to Missouri Route 79 - Salt River Road
- Construction continues and completion anticipated late 2011
Numbered and Lettered Routes
Missouri Route 94 Interconnect
- Signal Interconnections and upgrades completed 5th Street to Kingshighway, I-70 to Route 364, Jungs Station to Route D
Route DD improvements from I-64 west to Sommers Road completed
Construction funding programmed allowing for improvements on Route D, DD, and 94
MoDOT has agreed to monitor and address Route F corridor maintenance needs
Federal Legislative Update
- Reauthorization of the Federal Surface Transportation Act sought
