Help Grow the YP of St. Charles
Do you know someone who may enjoy or benefit by being a part of our group? Forward this e-mail or bring them as a guest to a meeting or event. The best way to grow is through those who are already active. Your guest does not have to be a member of the Chamber.

Join us for the April Young Professionals of St. Charles meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 12, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm in the St. Charles Chamber Conference Room.
This month we have Dale Poslosky, Principal at Modern Business Interiors and the 2010 Chairman of the Board for the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce. Dale will talk a little about his business, getting involved in the Chamber and community, and how by doing so it can help you. This meeting is free to anyone between the ages of 21-40. Feel free to bring your lunch. St. Charles Jaycees MeetingIf you are looking to get more involved in the community, the Jaycees are a great way to do so. Their dues are minimal and there is no required commitment. You can be as active as your schedule will allow.
Also, a fair number of the Jaycees have kids, so don't let that stop you. They plan family activities too.
Click here to check out the St. Charles Jaycees' Website. Click here to follow the Jaycees on Twitter. Vision St. Charles County Leadership Accepting Applications for 2010-11The class meets one day a month from August – March with the exception of a 2 day retreat in August and an overnight trip to Jefferson City in February. Some of the topics covered include civic leadership, economic development, education and health care. Tuition is $600 and must accompany applications which are due by May 31, 2010 (DEADLINE EXTENDED). Young Professionals Planning Social Activity - Cardinal's Game
The YP Board is organizing a group social outing to a St. Louis Cardinal game on June 19. We are looking at either section 129, 130, or 169. There is still availability in these seats, but they cannot hold them. I cannot put the Chamber in a position to purchase tickets and risk getting stuck with any we do not sell, so we are going to try to take advance orders. I have set-up a registration on the Chamber calendar so you can purchase the ticket online and I can then contact the Cardinals and submit our group for a block of seats.
Click here to purchase your tickets now through the Chamber. I have it set-up for $42 ($40 for tickets + $2 to cover credit card fees). You can also drop a check off by the Chamber and not pay the extra $2. I have set the deadline to purchase tickets for Friday, May 14. If you are interested in joining us, please reserve your ticket(s) ASAP. We hope to have at least 20. |
