| Cirque de la Symphonie The Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation are teaming up to raise funds for education. The TSO has reserved seats for the Saturday, January 30, 2010 7:30 pm Tucson Music Hall performance of the TSO Pops! family-friendly program, Cirque de la Symphonie, at a special discounted price. The Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will sell the tickets at full price with proceeds going to the Chamber Foundation’s Scholarship Fund. Tickets are $57.00 each. | 2010 Tucson Epilepsy Walk The 2010 Walk benefits the programs of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona. 1 in 100 people have been diagnosed with epilepsy 65000 in Arizona. The event benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona and is lead by this year’s Walk Director, Dr. David Labiner of Tucson. Why: The Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona has spent 2009 developing and promoting public education and programs that foster community awareness to improve the health care and community support available to persons affected by epilepsy. Proceeds will allow for the continuation of those programs and Camp Candlelight, support groups and education conferences.
