| Festival for Life: An Evening of the Arts and Givi Long Realty Cares Foundation (Title Sponsor) and The Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation (SAAF), proudly announce that the 21st Annual Jerôme Beillard Festival for Life will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m., at The University of Arizona® Student Union Grand Ballroom, 1303 E. University Drive in Tucson. Festival for Life is an annual live and silent auction featuring fine artwork, unique experiences, exciting travel opportunities, striking jewelry, and one-of-a-kind gifts. The event will also include hors d’oeuvres, a no-host bar, and live entertainment. The highlight of Festival for Life is its beautiful art from locally and nationally recognized artists such as Lorraine DarConte, Barbara Gurwitz, Deezie Manning-Catron, Tom Philabaum, Gail Marcus-Orlen, Curt Brill, Mark Rossi, Judith D’Agostino, Conrad Miles, Cristina Cardenas, David Adix, Josh Goldberg, Lynn Taber, Diana Madaras, and Lynnette Moody. New this year are reduced admission prices. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. | Cirque de la Symphonie The Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation are teaming up to raise funds for education. The TSO has reserved seats for the Saturday, January 30, 2010 7:30 pm Tucson Music Hall performance of the TSO Pops! family-friendly program, Cirque de la Symphonie, at a special discounted price. | 2010 Tucson Epilepsy Walk The 2010 Walk benefits the programs of the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona. 1 in 100 people have been diagnosed with epilepsy 65000 in Arizona. The event benefits the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona and is lead by this year’s Walk Director, Dr. David Labiner of Tucson. Why: The Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona has spent 2009 developing and promoting public education and programs that foster community awareness to improve the health care and community support available to persons affected by epilepsy. Proceeds will allow for the continuation of those programs and Camp Candlelight, support groups and education conferences.
