It's all Geek to me

The Chamber is working with Jojo Gale from Uintah High School to help students involved in the CTE Career Pathways program to provide real life applications for the things that they learn in school. This is a win-win program as tech savvy students set up simplified websites for our members and students get a chance to see business from a real world perspective. Who knows, maybe one of those tech savvy students might be a great addition to your business.

Once the chamber member's Traffic Catcher Site is optimized, then expansion into a full blown website, or e-commerce is available with up to 1,000 additional pages free of charge. Can you imagine what kind of sales or advertising program you can do with 1,000 pages. On line catalogs, business tours, coupons, news articles, mobile phone websites, are all part of the available tools to help promote your business.

What a deal!

Maybe when our version of the "Geek Squad" knocks on your door, you'll be able to take advantage of their knowledge and move into the 21st century. I bet they could even help you if your vcr is still flashing 12:00.

All joking aside, modern technology allows businesses to receive constant exposure and enhance awareness of their products or services at a minimal cost. Hopefully Hi-Tech solutions are part of your business strategy.   It certainly is part of our business strategy.  Times have changed and new opportunities are there for those that will grasp them.  Ted sells a T-shirt in his store that says it all..."The geek shall inherit the earth"

Please open your doors to Ted's interns and help them help you.  If you have any questions about the opportunities available to you or would like to be the first ones to get set up,  just give us a call at 789-1352 or email us at vchambered@ubtanet.com and we will get you started.
