About Us
In Walnut Creek, the members of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge 1811, range in age from 22 to 95. The appeal of the Lodge is philanthropy and companionship: opportunities to contribute time, skills, or money (or a combination) to those less fortunate and to build lasting friendships.
Philanthropic programs benefit both the young and our country's veterans; for example, the scholarship program of the Elks National organization is second only to the U.S. Government's annual awards. Through another important program, community support, Lodge 1811 members recently contributed to the fund for the Walnut Creek Police Dogs.
Defining Statement
The Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks was established to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowshipTarget Market
