About Us

Contra Costa Christian Schools is committed to the belief that every child is created for a noble purpose and that God's plan for its students will be realized by helping them become a vessel for His use. This belief can be seen in the schools' Mission Statement, Core Values and Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLRs). CCC firmly believes that a Christian education plays a large part in the fulfillment of this divine calling.

Founded in 1978 by a small group of parents representing a handful of Christian churches in the Walnut Creek area, Contra Costa Christian Schools has grown to become one of the premier Christian schools in Northern California. Accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, CCC serves students from pre-school through high school. The campus draws students from over a hundred different churches, across a broad geographical area, which encompasses the entire Diablo Valley region, and includes students from as far away as the Delta region to the east, the Oakland Hills to the west and Danville and San Ramon to the south. This brings a broad cross section of students to the Walnut Creek campus.

Contra Costa Christian brings the Christian community together through schools operated for children from Christian homes. As a member of Christian Schools International, CCC employs teachers who instruct children in all aspects of life.

Our goal is to work with the homes and churches to produce graduates who love God, view the world from His perspective and are academically, socially and spiritually equipped to be godly members of society. We not only teach students how to prepare for life, we also teach them how to live.
