About Us

Third Workplace is a drop-in hourly place to work, similar to coworking space, but with ground floor convenience and built on custom made member technology that allows ultimate flexibility in working (come in for an hour or a minute). We are helping people embrace a green work style, locating ourselves near convenient transportation routes, and meeting the needs of mobile workers everywhere.

This is a professional environment where you choose how you want to work. Our 4,600 sq foot workplace has a 70-seat Open Area that features spacious reclaimed wood tables, outfitted with electrical outlets at each seat. Succulents line the top of oak and metal dividers for privacy and comfort on each table. Natural light streams in through large front facing windows. Two lounge areas are located at each end of the main working space.

We have 4 Private Offices, perfect for two person meetings or that long distance interview on our Cisco video conferencing unit and our Meeting Rooms can fit anywhere from 4 to 14 people, each of which comes equipped with an HD LED monitor and whiteboard walls (neat!).

Come join our workplace and enjoy comfortable organic textures as well as unlimited Wifi, coffee, tea, printing, faxing, copying, and scanning- completely free.

Our first location is part of the Transit Village at Contra Costa Centre, just steps from the Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre BART station.

The entrance is on Treat Boulevard, two doors down from the intersection with Jones Road, and there's free garage parking via Sunne Lane.

A one-on-one videoconferencing unit (Cisco EX-90) can be set up in any of our Meeting or Private Workplaces. ($149/hour, be sure to reserve with your room to ensure availability.)

The Bulldog (8 seat) and Labrador (6 seat) Rooms may be combined to accomodate 14 people, if you reserve them both for the same time period.
