Walnut Creek Chamber Member in the News

Rocco Biale
Popular Restaurant Owner, Chamber member, and Board Director
Profiled in Local Lifestyle Magazine

Local entrepreneur and avid community supporter Rocco Biale, owner of the eponymous Rocco’s Ristorante Pizzeria in Walnut Creek, is featured in the May issue of lifestyle magazine 86 Degrees. The cover story profiles top male entrepreneurs and showcases Rocco and friend Joe Garaventa, owner of Black Diamond Brewery, on the cover.
A popular neighborhood eatery and destination restaurant for locals and visitors alike, Rocco's is located in the busy Encina Grande shopping center at the corner of Ygnacio Valley and Oak Grove roads in Walnut Creek. Rocco's father and uncle operated several restaurants and bars, and Rocco spent years learning the business under their guidance before opening his own restaurant in October 1999. Today, Rocco's is a busy place where patrons can dine-in or take out. It's where families and friends swap stories over beer and pizza, where teens celebrate 16th birthdays, and where first dates happen and 20th anniversaries are toasted.
