Leadership Contra Costa Class of 2015

Congratulations graduates!

Twenty-five individuals graduated from Leadership Contra Costasm, the Bay Area’s premier leadership program on Thursday May 7, 2015 at the Boundary Oak Clubhouse in Walnut Creek.  The graduation ceremonies marked the culmination of an eight-month comprehensive program designed to identify and prepare potential community leaders.  The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau sponsored its first Leadership class twenty-eight years ago and has since graduated nearly 700 individuals from the program.  The curriculum includes presentations and workshops from community leaders about critical issues facing the community.

It's All Happening in the Shadelands

Work Place. Life Space.

The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and the City of Walnut Creek have been working hard over the past several years to help rejuvenate the Shadelands Business Park (SBP) for tenants, owners and visitors.

Spring  News 2015
The Shadelands has adopted a new logo (see above). Designed by Hurd and Associates, the logo represents an updated vision of the future of the park.

The Shadelands Steering Committee is in the process of adopting a Strategic Plan for the park which will outline the needs and timelines to implement such important priorities as: Advocacy, Asset Improvement, Asset Protection, BART Shuttle, and Wayfinding.

With the cooperation of the Walnut Creek Police Department the Shadelands is seeking to add a police substation in the business park. For an RFP of specifications please contact the Chamber at 925-934-2007 or email Lynden Tripp
