Get ready to dance the night away at the 2015 Broadway Plaza Summer Concert Series & Thursday Night Block Party! Three Thursdays in August!  This year, come early and spend some time at our Block Party - grab a drink, get something to eat and visit with our concert partners. All of this year's concerts will be in the Stanford’s Parking Lot, located next to the Main Street Parking Garage.  We'll see you there!

SVP Marcie Hochhauser celebrates 35 years at the Chamber

The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau marked Senior Vice President Marcie Hochhauser's thirty-five year Chamber anniversary with a surprise party attended by past Board Chairs and office staff. Marcie began her Chamber career on August 4, 1980 and is credited with the creation and success of many of the organizations programs and events including the Walnut Creek Chamber Art & Wine Festival,Leadership Contra Costasm, and the East Bay Women's Conference...just to name a few. Congratulations! Thank you for your service, Marcie.

FREE* Business Development Seminars

Next month, the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau kicks off a new series of FREE* business development seminars designed to provide small business owners with the information, resources, and expertise to skillfully grow their businesses. The following seminars have been scheduled to "lunch" while you learn. So be sure to register, grab your lunch, and head over to the Chamber to "lunch and learn." All seminars will take place from noon to 1:30p.m. in the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau boardroom located at 1280 Civic Drive, Walnut Creek.
 
FREE* to all members of the  Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.

Non-member fee: $45/session or $100 for the four seminar series.
 
NOTE: It is necessary to register for each seminar individually, with the exception of the non-member "package" option. Registration links appear in each of the following blocks along with a seminar description. The "package" option for non-members may be accessed through any of the four registration links.

(Business and Social Hour) Nows your chance to let us know! The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is now accepting requests to fill the 2016 calendar. Hosting is a great way to showcase your business to Chamber members, non-members, government officials, educators and local businesses. If you would like to co-host a BASH with another member, please make the arrangements and send back one form that includes each potential hosts contact information. We will contact the 2016 hosts when the calendar is set and maintain a waiting list for those we were unable to accommodate.

Stuff the Bus

School Supply Drive

The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau has joined Assemblymember Catharine Baker, 16th District as a community partner in the “Stuff the Bus-School Supply Drive.” This donation drive is designed to raise much needed school supplies for the students in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District. Stuff the Bus-School Supply Drive will run through August 22, 2015. As a community partner, we hope you will help us "stuff" the Chamber donation bin located in our office at 1280 Civic Drive, Ste. 100. The students in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District will greatly benefit from our collective support.
