A New Class Begins Their Leadership Journey

Leadership Contra CostaSM kicked off its twenty-ninth year on October 1 with an orientation and alumni reception at Renaissance ClubSport. Karla Garcia, Chamber Chairman of the Board welcomed the new class, while Marcie Hochhauser, Senior Vice President of the Chamber and Coordinator of the program reviewed the logistics and gave class members the opportunity to share why they are participating in the program. Kathleen Odne, Executive Director of the Dean & Margaret Lesher Foundation and Leadership alum, shared her insights on how to make the most of their year ahead. The reception was an opportunity for the twenty-five participants to meet their classmates and the many Leadership alumni that came out to welcome them. Congratulations to each of these individuals for making a commitment to making a difference in the communities in which they live and work.

Leadership Contra CostaSM is a comprehensive eight-month program designed to identify and prepare potential leaders. To find out more about the program, click here.
