One Warm Coat Drive  Drop off gently used, clean coats into the One Warm Coat barrels inside the ice rink.  The coats from this drive will benefit St. Vincent de Paul’s organization.

It's Far Better to Give

Holiday Open House & Toy Drive

6:00pm to 8:00pm 

Please join Assemblywoman Catharine Baker to celebrate the holiday season. Her district office will be collecting new, unwrapped toys to benefit Toys for Tots programs in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Location: San Ramon District Office, 2440 Camino Ramon, Suite 345,94583 San Ramon.

Canned food drive

 Chamber member Buon Vino is conducting a canned food drive during the holiday season to benefit the Food Bank of Contra Costa County & SolanoThey ask that you help spread some "Holiday Cheer" by bringing your non-perishable food items to their location at 1545 Locust Street. Buon Vino is a great place to enjoy some wine tasting before making your way around the downtown. Donations will be accepted through the beginning weeks of January 2016.

Meet Our New Staff Member

Linda Vesneski
Membership Sales Director
The Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau recently welcomed Linda Vesneski to their staff as the Membership Sales Director.   Linda grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Olympia, Washington and is a graduate of South Puget Sound Community College and Central Washington University with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing.  After marrying and moving to California, she spent seven years in sales and event management at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina and later at the San Francisco Airport Marriott. During a ten year break from work to raise a family, Linda and her family had the opportunity to live abroad in Australia. Returning home to Northern California, Linda took on the Membership Account Manager role at Renaissance Club Sport in Walnut Creek and Family Service/Sales Counselor at Oakmont Memorial Park in Lafayette.  Linda resides in Clayton with her husband Erik and two children.

Contra Costa County invites you to attend a free educational workshop to learn about Community Choice Energy (CCE) in the Bay Area and its potential in Contra Costa County.
