4th of July Concert
 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

 
The Walnut Creek Concert Band will celebrate Independence Day with a free concert at Civic Park on July 4. The music begins at 6:00 pm. Bring a picnic and a blanket to sit on the grass, and wish our nation and musical happy birthday!

July 4th Fireworks

Remember that although fireworks are illegal in Contra Costa County for individual use, you can still enjoy the holiday with official and legal fireworks celebrations on July 4. You’ll find all the times and locations here.

LCC is geared to people who want to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work. Topics include Health and Aging, The Price of Justice, Business and the Economy, Environment, Education, Technology, Government and Politics, and Housing and Transportation. 

As the Leadership Contra Costa program enters its 30th year, we are now accepting applications.

The annual MEGA Business Mixer (Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Lafayette, Concord, Martinez, Orinda, Moraga, and Hispanic) will take place on Thursday, July 28, from 5:00—7:00pm at the Pleasant Hill Community Center in Pleasant Hill. Hosted by the Pleasant Hill Chamber of Commerce, the MEGA Mixer typically draws 200-500 attendees from the eight chambers making this a great opportunity to expand networking circles and learn what’s happening in our neighboring cities.  Attendees will enjoy delicious appetizers and sweet treats provided by member businesses of all eight chambers. Bring a raffle prize and we will announce your business.
