Gene Royer opened All American Heating and Air in 1991. This company is the culmination of his vision to provide the best in service to the residents of central South Carolina. Gene holds a Master's Mechanical Contractor's license, as well as multiple certifications in several heating and air specialties. He is married to Debbie G. Royer and has five children and two grandchildren.
An Army veteran, Gene believes in America and patriotism. He served in Nuremberg, Germany from 1976 - 1979 in the 1st Armored Division, 94th Field Artillery Battalion. As a testament to his appreciation for our country and her veterans, the foyer of his company headquarters has the Missing Man Table for POW/MIA service members featured during the observance of Veterans Day. You will appreciate the detail and history of the Missing Man Table provided in the book, America's White Table by Margot Theis Raven. Gene is the co-founder of the Christmas Charity Ride for Veterans at the Dorn VA Medical Center and two homeless veterans shelters in Columbia, SC. Gene believes in treating both his customers and employees fairly and with compassion. He allows his staff the flexibility to make the decisions that are in the best interests of each customer.
Gene fosters a strong camaraderie among the staff and enjoys sharing in recreational pursuits with them. Many of the technicians and installers are motorcycle enthusiasts and Gene has a great time riding with the guys!
Debbie G. Royer is the Vice President and company Controller. She makes sure that the business is run in a professional manner. As the controller, Debbie is the chief accounting officer. She is responsible for analyzing, interpreting, and controlling the organization's accounting and financial records. Her responsibilities also include advertising, marketing and human resources.
Debbie became a Registered Nurse in 1977 and obtained her Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of South Carolina in 1985. During her sixteen year tenure at Baptist Medical Center in Columbia, she served six years in the Emergency Room and then moved up as the director of the Gastroenterology Department, where she served for a total of eleven years.
As the President of the Speakers Bureau at Baptist Medical Center, she spoke on the topic of stress management. Debbie was the founder and president of Carolina Gastroenterology Assistants, an organization for nurses in the field of gastroenterology.After the birth of her first child, she became involved in the Home Health field. She has worked for a private agency, as well as the Department of Health and Environmental Control.
Debbie is a veteran of South Carolina Army National Guard, where she served for 12 years. As a Captain in the of the Army Nurse Corps, she was attached to the 251st Support Battalion.
Her official affiliation with All American Heating and Air began in the year 2000. As a part of her commitment to continuing education and professional development, Debbie is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. She also maintains membership in several professional nursing organizations.
Debbie is the wife of Gene Royer, company President. Debbie is very involved with their children, taking an active role in parent volunteer opportunities.
