Good Deed Friday was created by The Ambassadors of The Greater Cayce-West Columbia Chamber of Commerce in 2009 in order to recognize the needs of local charities and assist them in tough economic times throughout the year, and not just at the popular December holiday season. On Good Friday,
Items donated during Good Deed Friday this year will benefit: Chris Myers Children's Place, Lexington Interfaith Community Services, Pet's Inc, Babcock Center and the Woman's Club of Cayce (which supports God's Helping Hands, Foster Children of the Midlands and the Cancer " Care Caps" project). Just a few of the Items that are needed include: clothing, furniture, toys, pet items, non-perishable food items, blankets and other bedding,

We also will be "giving back" to those who give. We will have refreshments all day donated by chamber members and between 11:00am - 2:00pm will will have hot dogs, drinks, chips. TRADD MERCHANT, a young man featured by WIS for wanting to open a business, will be there with his Sno-Kones!
