36th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Cayce

This event is sponsored by The Woman's Club of Cayce and includes greetings from city officials, holiday thoughts, musical selections, and a visit from Santa. Proceeds from the sale of lights for the tree are used to fund community projects and a scholarship program. The Woman's Club is also sponsoring the Cayce Cares food drive and asks that participants donate non-perishable food items to decorate the Food Tree. The event will end with a community reception.

The Lights of Cayce

Beginning December 5th and running through the end of the year, visitors can take a ride through the Cayce City Hall complex and enjoy the magic of thousands of twinkling lights, dazzling holiday displays, and music of the season.

Carols Along the Cayce Riverwalk

The sounds of Christmas can be heard throughout the Cayce Riverwalk Park where several area church choirs and local musicians will be located throughout the first half mile of the park. Visitors can wander from group to group, enjoying holiday musical selections. The Riverwalk will be lighted with luminaries and hot apple cider will be served free of charge. .

2013 South Congaree Christmas Parade

Cayce Historical Museum Annual Holiday Open House

The sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas will abound at the Museum�s annual Christmas Traditions Holiday Open House. Each room of the Museum will be decorated with trees and crafts from the 18th century to present. The Open House will also feature live entertainment, docents dressed in period attire, and light refreshments.

West Metro Holiday Parade of Lights

The West Metro Holiday Parade of Lights is one of the most anticipated holiday parades in the Midlands of South Carolina! This beloved night time parade begins at 5:30 pm at the corner of Hwy. 1 & 12th Street in West Columbia and proceeds down 12th Street ending in front of the Cayce Municipal Complex. Crowds have been estimated over 20,000 so come grab yourself a viewing spot early!

Lexington County Museum Christmas Open House

Come experience Christmas traditions of the past at the Lexington County Museum as it hosts its Annual Christmas Open House on December 8 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Many of the 30 historic houses on the Museum complex will be open and will feature period Christmas decorations. The event is free to the public. Light refreshments, including hot apple cider and gingerbread, will be served and live music will be featured. Christmas on the River 2013

Tour the beautifully decorated homes at Congaree Park & Bridgepointe from 2pm - 6pm and a reception follows at Stone River from 5pm - 8pm. Reception features heavy hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, and music from Heart 'N Soul. Produced by the West Columbia Beautification Foundation.
